Hi, I'm Sarah Hayes
I was born on the West Coast and raised there within a family of creatives. My desire to create led me to The University of Notre Dame, where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in furniture design. I honed my architectural eye at Hartman-Cox and Zaras-Neudorfer Architects in Georgetown, working with clients like the National Park Service, the Smithsonian, the University of Virginia, Duke University, and UNC. During my time at ZNA, I collaborated on a variety of high-end residential projects in locales such as Cambridge, Nantucket, Washington, DC, and Potomac, Maryland. I now practice independently in Chevy Chase, MD, focusing my work on interior design and residential design. My background in architecture, furniture design, and art informs my work as interior designer, thoughtfully creating spaces with classic beauty and modern livability.
As a mother of four, I understand the many needs a home must meet. It's my goal and purpose to help families create homes that enhance their daily lives without sacrificing quality or style. My designs are a tribute to the unique lives lived within them.
