OUR APPROACH
Sarah Hayes Design is a full service architectural and interior design studio based in Chevy Chase, MD, and serving clients regionally. My background in architecture gives me a unique perspective in designing new construction homes and remodels. My experience in furniture design and art informs my ability to source and select the best in finishes and furnishings. No matter the scope of your project, my ultimate goal is to guide you to your ideal vision of your home and make the collaborative process of creating it an enjoyable and memorable one.

HOW DO I WORK WITH YOU?The process begins with filling out our inquiry form, which you will find on our contact page. We will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your project and whether our services are the right fit. Please keep in mind that lead times vary throughout the year and that we take on a limited number of projects at any given time so that we are able to give each client adequate attention.

DO YOU TRAVEL?Yes! I am available for travel on a limited basis, assuming scope and timeline are a good fit.

WHAT SIZE PROJECTS DO YOU TAKE ON?We are a boutique, full-service design firm. We are able to guide you through the process of new construction, renovation, or furnishing your space. We typically request that projects include at least three rooms with furniture sourcing, flooring finishes, lighting, and accessories. Architectural design services are available upon request.

I SAW SOMETHING I LOVE ON YOUR INSTAGRAM. CAN I ORDER IT THROUGH YOU?We get this question frequently, and the answer is often yes! Please send an email and be as specific as possible describing the product that you're interested in. We will provide dimensions, pricing, and lead times. Many of our vendors only work directly with designers and do not ship to residences (with a few exceptions). If you would like to order something that cannot ship to your home, we will work together to find a warehouse for the product to be received at and transported to you. Tax, freight, and delivery fees will be added.
